Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital

Hawkins Construction provided construction services for the expansion of facilities at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington. 
Our work consisted of construction of several new buildings and renovation of nearly every other building on their campus.  


Currently, Hawkins Construction is building a new Rood & Riddle Veterinary Pharmacy.

The driveway behind the old isolation barn was lowered for a muck wagon to easily back up to a dock
and unload into the truck keeping any contaminated material away from the rest of the buildings.

Generator
Installation of Hospital wide 330 KW Emergency Generator system
The Generator installation required running new main underground utilities from Georgetown Road to two new transformer locations, one on each side of the property. 
Underground lines were reworked in various locations to tie all the main buildings into the generator grid.
